We source our cinnamon directly from my family cinnamon plantation in Galle, Sri Lanka, where we grow premium quality pure Alba grade cinnamon.
Ceylon Cinnamon sticks are historically known as True Cinnamon, being reputed worldwide for being the highest quality premium cinnamon as far back as during ancient Roman Empire.
Ceylon Cinnamon sticks are soft, rolled like a cigar with multiple thin strips of cinnamon bark and flake easily which can be ground up into a fine powder (use a blender or grinder) or to add into curries or flavor rice or custards.
The sticks are made from the inner bark of the Cinnamon tree by skilled Craftsmen via a special hand crafted process. The specialized knowledge for this work is extremely limited even in its native Sri Lanka but the end result is the finest quality Cinnamon in the World.
