ANTIQUE CAVALRY SABER SWORD BRASS EAGLE HEAD POMMEL
We believe this Saber dates back to the late 1700's and may have been used
in the Revolutionary War.
All Brass Fittings.  Blood Groove on Blade.
Marks:
On Tang, there is a Triangular Mark (see photo).
On Tang, there are also marks that look like the number 72 (I think--see photo).

30.25" On the Curve  BLADE
5.00" from Top of Eagle Head to Bottom of Crossguard

Weighs approximately:
1.5 pounds overall without the Grip
Condition:
Very old.  No Scabbard.  Missing Handle GRIP.  Black pitting on blade.  Several small nicks on Blade.  Lots of Scratching on Blade.  Has
NOT
been cleaned.  Still needs cleaning and/or servicing and/or repair.  Any defects not mentioned but visible in the pictures will be considered as "described".
