Antique, extremely rare WWII Greek Military Infantry
officer's
sword,
made in Germany Solingen, during Nazi period, by renowned ALCOSO
(Alexander Coppel - Solingen).
Sword based at French Infantry M 1845
model and it has a
straight nickel -
chrome plated stainless steel blade
marked at the ricassop "ALCOSO - SOLINGEN" and Scale figure A.C.S.
initials for Alexander
Coppel Solingen. Alexander Coppel was Jewish
so Nazis bought his company at a
ridiculous price and change the logo
as above mentioned.
It has gilded bronze guard with relief
floral
pattern
decoration and an
iron
sheath with one
suspension
ring.
On top of the handle,
existing
Royal
Coat Arms
of King
George B'
of Greece
, with
crowned cross
shield &
Hercules Guards pair
.
I cannot
determine
the
black color
material of the
handle,
as probably it's
seems
to be either
horn or
bakelite
decorated
with rolling gold
plated
bronze wire
.
While
French Army
examples
are very common,
this Greek sword version
is
extremely
rare, as was produced
in very limited numbers.

(Nur für die lokale Abholung oder den Inlandsversand innerhalb Griechenlands verfügbar.)Antikes, äußerst seltenes Offiziersschwert der griechischen Militärinfanterie aus dem Zweiten Weltkrieg,made in Germany Solingen, während der Nazizeit, von renommierten ALCOSO (Alexander Coppel - Solingen). Schwert der französischen Infanterie M 1845 Modell und es hat eine gerade Nickel-Chrom überzogene Edelstahlklinge markiert am Ricasso "ALCOSO - SOLINGEN" und Skalenfigur A.C.S. Initialen für Alexander Coppel Solingen. Alexander Coppel war Jude Deshalb kauften Nazis seine Firma zu einem lächerlichen Preis und änderten das Logo wie oben erwähnt. Es hat Bronze Wache mit Relief Blumenmuster vergoldet Dekoration und eine Eisenhülle mit einem Aufhängering. Auf dem Griff befinden sich die vorhandenen königlichen Wappen von König Georg B 'von Griechenland, mit gekröntes Kreuzschild & Hercules Guards Paar. Ich kann das nicht feststellen schwarzes Farbmaterial des Griffs, wie es wohl auch zu sein scheint Horn oder Bakelit verziert mit rollendem vergoldetem Bronzedraht. Während Französisch Armee Beispiele sind sehr verbreitet, diese griechische Schwert-Version ist extrem selten, da in sehr geringen Stückzahlen produziert.
