Fine French Light Infantry Briguet Short Sword, Dated 1820 & Original Scabbard. A great sword as found with clear blade stamps and spine engraved Klinginthal, Mar.1820 and etc. the blade displaying light surface rust and a few minor use nicks. The scarce original scabbard is very sound with excellent stitching and pliable leather showing moderate finish loss which could be easily re-colored.
