Rare One-of-a-kind original circus schedule from the 1934 season
signed by Fred & Ella Bradna in blue.
Listing the towns in which the circus would be performing from August to September of that year.
Beautifully Triple matted with 4 unsigned photos to 16 x 20
and ready to frame.
Also comes with a modern reproduction of a 1940 New White Owl Cigar ad featuring Bradna and printed on card stock.

One of the more unusual marriages in circus history, FRED BRADNA was Barnum and Bailey's 10th ringmaster for over 31 years, holding the title before and after their merger with Ringling Brothers, and largely created the archetype for ringmasters to come - red tails, white pants, riding boots, and top hat. His wife, ELLA BRADNA, grew up on her father's circus in the late 1800's, training as an equestrienne and a wire walker.  Both were present at the famous Hartford tent fire on July 6, 1944, which claimed 168 dead and 487 injured when the paraffin-soaked tent suddenly caught fire and quickly burned, trapping hundreds within.
