Gaming/Gambling and Amusement Supply Catalog, William Rott, 1928 - No. 9 & 10
Up for auction is William Rott's 1926 Catalog for Games and Amusement Devices. The set includes both Catalog No. 9 from 1926 and also the Supplementary Catalog No. 10. The first catalog is 48 pages and features a variety of different games and amusements that were used at carnivals, fairs and festivals. Each one is numbered and the contents are described and priced. Some of them have information about the patents as well. The second catalog is Catalog No. 10 and is entitled "New Ideas in Clever Amusement Devices...That Will Bring Joy to the Crowds and Profits to the Concessionaire." I believe that this was a supplement to the No. 9 Catalog as it makes some revisions in reference to Catalog No. 9. This is very interesting content, with some great images.
Overall, these are in good condition, but the front cover of Catalog No. 9 is completely detached, and the back is detached at the bottom staple. The cover and contents of Catalog No. 10 are still bound.
