M1852 US NAVY SWORD Serpent for Scabbard Drag 2Pc STAMPING DIE * MC Lilley J1451
From the archives of MC Lilley, this listing is for a 2-piece steel stamping die used to make the serpent-shaped scabbard drag for the US Navy model 1852 officer’s sword. The die probably dates to the 1920’s. Each steel block has dimensions approximately 3” x 4” x 2” high (4” total height when assembled). The combined weight is 13 lb 5 oz.
