DeWalt 20V DCV517 cordless wet/dry vacuum

) If you do then you know it's a great vacuum however the nozzle attached to the housing is not the "greatest". If you use this vacuum a lot on abrasive surfaces (like concrete) or with abrasive materials than you will eventually wear out the nozzle end which is permanently attached to the vacuum housing.
I use my DeWalt cordless vacuum to clean up metal shavings on a concrete shop floor and in just a few days I have noticed the nozzle end was starting to wear down. I figure in a few months I will wear through the end of the nozzle (permanent part of the vacuum housing) and it will have to be repaired or replaced. To solve this problem I have created a tough PETG thermoplastic nozzle protector that can take the abuse instead of your DeWalt vacuum!
