Here is a great opportunity to get this Persian Sword with solid brass hilt. The brass hilt and guard is sculpted in the lion hunting deer motif. The grip is solid brass and the blade is carbon steel with etched design and words Made in India underneath it. This Persian Sword is in excellent condition, very sound and tight and the tip of the blade shows its lamination from being hand forged. This sword is over 100 years old and it has a single owner for over 30 years. This sword would make a great addition to any sword collection and it is the real deal.Can be classified as a hunting sword, because of the handle motif.
The dimensions are 34 ½ inches overall length. The quillion is 3 ½ inches wide and the grip is 4 1/2 inches to end of tiger pommel. The blade is 1 3/8 inches wide and 29 ½ inches long and the sword weighs a little less than 2 pounds. What you see is what you get.
