RARE 19th CENTURY BROKEN SWORD MARKED U.S. &  THE MC LILLEY
We were told when we bought it that the Blade was possibly broken in battle.
    Markings:
Blade marked THE MC LILLEY (the rest is unreadable).  Blade also has a "Flag" and "E. PLURIBUS UNUM" etched on it.
Blade has what appears to be a Walking 4-legged walking Bear or walking Tiger on it.
Handle has a Tiger's Head on it.
Scabbard has a STAR on tip.
On the US Militaria Forum there is a sample of a similar Sword and the experts discuss it.  They say: "
This walking bear looking logo has always been problematic for me to decypher. It either represents Abraham Kuller (walking bear) or Lauterjung & Co. (walking tiger)."

have gone up at the Post Office AND Insurance is costly + eBay now charges Sellers a 9% of Shipping Fee fee for charging the Buyer for shipping.  For example, if I charge you .00 for shipping, eBay charges me 9% of .00 = .35.  These eBay shipping fee's are built into my price.
If I overcharged you on Shipping, Packaging, and eBay Shipping Fee's, I am happy to refund any overage over .00 after fee's.
    Shipping OUTSIDE USA:
I ship EXPRESS MAIL which is more expensive, but is the only way I can properly INSURE & Track.   In some cases, Customs may hold your item and make you pay additional fee's before they release the item to you.  Seller is not responsible for these charges and they are not included in any way with the sale.
