CIRCA 1906 PATENTED "THE CIRCLE COASTER" FERRIS DESCRIPTIVE & GRAPHIC ADVERTISING CIRCULAR / BROCHURE / FLYER W/ COLOR COVER
A wonderful early flyer for a rare design of FERRIS WHEEL invented just 12 years after introduction of
FERRIS WHEEL at the 1893 Columbian Exposition at CHICAGO, ILL.
Measures 7 3/4" X 9" in size (CLOSED) on thin paper stock trimmed slightly and separated at hinge.  Shows fold marks from having been sent in an No. 10 sized envelope.  Appears to be complete.  Has some rust stains and paper loss where lower hinge fold was before trimming. With printed color cover.
Bears faded red ink stamp of "OWEN M. CONNELLY - INVENTOR & PATENTEE"  who resided in PHILADELPHIA at "3525 N. SYDENHAM STREET, PHILADELPHIA, PA.   PATENT NUMBER -
# "816, 435," for "AMUSEMENT APPARATUS."
This FERRIS WHEEL form named as 'THE CIRCLE COASTER" was PATENTED
on MARCH 27, 1906.   Brochure / flyer / circular is hand dated "AUG. 1906" inside in pencil - likely by the inventor.
Rare paper item has wear consistent with age but displays nicely. Please see photos as they are part of the description.
