Description
A scarce Spanish Army short saber/machete/sidearm made at the Toledo Factory in 1877? (last two digits of date not clear but I concluded 1877 after much examination with several magnifiers); Condition as described above; On the right side of the blade it is inscribed "ARTa FABa DE TOLEDO 1877"; on the front-center of the cross guard it bears the Engineers emblem of a tower inside a laurel wreath , on the pommel's front the emblem of the Miners-Sappers (A spade crossed by a hammer and a pickaxe) and on the pommel's rear two crossed rifles on a drum, indicating an Infantry formation; A very scarce piece.S&H COSTS .00 VIA USPS PRIORITY : SALE TAXES AND FEES WILL BE ADDED BY EBAY AT TIME OF SALE..
