Historical context:
Hunting was, according to English fashion, the favorite pleasure. We were forcing, not deer, but hares. Our pack consisted of about sixty dogs of all species, including quite a few Pugs.

. The scabbard is in sturdy leather, with its fastening button, in good condition without missing or tearing. This is a very beautiful hunting knife, totally original, it would be between 40-50 years old.
