After a century of cultural development under Russian aegis, Georgia regained fleeting independence as the Democratic Republic of Georgia, before falling under the domination of the Soviet Union, of which it was one of the 15 republics.

The scabbard is in leather with silver-white metal fittings (to be checked), also in their own juice. The saber fits perfectly into its scabbard. This one is still very supple and solid, in wood and old leather, which is very rare because the scabbards rarely retain their original attributes. An extremely rare piece to absolutely grab to complete your collection. The sword dates from the end of the XIX beginning of XX.
