Vintage Brass Handled Sword Sabre Made In India Velour Sheath.
This sword is in very good condition especially based on it’s age, very little wear on sheath, no tears. The brass work is in good condition with some minor dents and scratches, could probably use a good cleaning. The trim detail is intact. The blade is clean with minor scuffs and scratches. The original sageo is attached. The sword easily slides in and out of sheath but fits securely. The sheath appears to be fabric covered wood. The blade measures 13.50” and overall length in sheath measures 20”. The sword with sheath weighs 1 pound 2 ounces.
