Vintage Clown Circus Punk Carnival Doll, Knock-Down, Amusement Park, Orange

Description

Up for grabs is a vintage circus punk original carnival knock-down doll, about 12" tall and 4" deep. The front has been repainted a vibrant blue with pink/blue/black details; the back shows the original hand-painted design. Like the front, it appears to be a "clown" style. It seems to be made of canvas, wood (for the base) and wool or some type of "fluff" for the fringe. The number "38" is written on the bottom. The original and repaint years are both unknown. This is the exact shape I bought it in about a decade ago, also here on eBay. A great piece of Circus Americana!
