Vintage Fencing Foil With French Grip - Has a Makers Mark - Possibly Russian?

All I can tell you about this fencing foil is that it is old and has a french grip.  Very cool and unique.  There is a makers mark on the sword and I took a picture of it.  It means nothing to me, but I am sure it does to many.  I am guessing it was made in 1982, since that is the number right above the makers mark, but I guess it could also be a model number or something else.  I have been lucky enough to have a kind foil fencer from Australia give me some input, that has been greatly appreciated on some of my items.  He thinks that he may have seen this makers mark many years ago and thinks it might be Russian.  If someone knows exactly who the maker is, I would appreciate it if you would let me know so that I could update this post.  I leave all vintage items as I get them, so this item has not been cleaned.  Many collectors and users prefer to do it themselves and this is why I leave them as is.  The handle has black electrical tape wrapped around it, so I don't know if there once was a wrap or not.  The sword guard is better looking than the pictures depict and is silver.  It should clean up quite nice.
