Vintage shooting gallery target, man on horseback sheet metal folk art old paint

Description

Very interesting heavy gage metal figure of a soldier on horseback holding a saber in one hand. The paint is old and show signs of being exposed to the weather. I believe this was made as a shooting gallery target or perhaps a weather vane?  The are no markings that I can see.  It is quite heavy and shows nicely on a white wall.  The dimensions are 23" x 25".
