Vintage Wooden Magic Sweepstakes Barrel Carnival Church Bazar Street Fair

Fun fun stuff! A magic Sweepstakes Barrel, This is a diminutive sized prize barrel from a carnival, church carnival or fund raiser. It has a wonderful old surface and great paint, all original. There are 5 metal bands, one is missing, holding the barrel together. I inserted tiny pins through the bands into the wood, it is very sturdy. Just love the look, this is probably mid 1900's maybe earlier, found in a collection on Long Island. Come visit this piece and many others in our display at Columbia Rivertowne Antique Center, Columbia, PA.
The barrel is a real nice display size: 17 1/2" tall x 10" across the top and 12" across the belly.
